Philanthropy Funding 2020
The Foundation would like to give thanks to all the Pi Phi alums who bought tickets to the Blazing a Trail Luncheon, as well as the dynamic committee that was planning this exciting event—Jennifer Brown, Allison Crosswell, Molly Khalil, Christine Morenz, and Leslie Newcomer. We tried hard to make this luncheon happen but it just wasn’t meant to be. Happily, it was a sellout and we are able to help our philanthropies during this difficult time when they are desperately needing our support.
We received many heartfelt expressions of appreciation for the work that went into raising these funds. As one Executive Director said, “We are honored and humbled to receive this important gift, and will emulate your own careful decision process to ensure that we carry out the Pi Beta Phi vision for Houston’s children.”
Listed below are our philanthropies and the amounts they were given for 2020. Thanks to everyone for contributing to our effort to increase literacy in our beloved hometown of Houston.
